The Columban Vocation...
As missionaries, Columbans first immerse themselves in the traditions and language of the people where they are sent.

We first experience the faith and generosity of the poor whom we accompany in their struggle for a dignified way of life. Challenged and enriched by the poor, we learn to become prayerful missionaries. Whether praying around a campfire with nomadic peoples in Pakistan, offering the Eucharist on a remote hillside in Taiwan, or offering a blessing before a meal in a community kitchen in Peru, the Columbans live, pray, and learn with the people.
